The number of factors people have to deal with to be happy seems superhuman, out of reach sometimes. In creating a perfume, I am playing my own musical score but I am also giving my interpretation of a story that we create together. I get people to play my chords until everyone is in agreement and hears the same thing. I know more than ever that I want perfumes to resonate with people’s souls, to support them, to be their companion and embellish their lives. I am the embellisher.”
